Galaxy CEO Novogratz Stays Bullish on Bitcoin: Hitting $100K by Year-End 'Wouldn't Surprise Me'

Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz continues to stick to his Bitcoin bullish stance. He said Bitcoin's chart pattern remains healthy, and he would not be surprised if Bitcoin surges to $100,000 before the end of the year.

"I still like this chart," Novogratz said in a recent All Things Markets discussion. "If we're standing at $100,000 at the end of the year, I won't be surprised."

This judgment comes as Bitcoin is still oscillating near a key technical area, with traders clearly divided on the outlook: some believe Bitcoin is brewing a new round of major gains, while others think it may still need a longer period of consolidation. However, Novogratz seems not to care much about the迟迟 absence of a breakout.

He pointed out that activity in the broader crypto ecosystem is rising, which is another reason market sentiment may improve, and believes that several smaller developments are gradually accumulating into momentum.

"Quite a few nice little stories are popping up on the edges, and I think that has brought some enthusiasm back to the crypto market," he said.

Novogratz also described the current environment as one in which investors may need to tolerate sharp volatility in order to stay in positions and wait for further gains. This backdrop of recovering risk appetite could also affect capital flows in the crypto market. Later in the conversation, he suggested that there may be some rotation between high-momentum stocks and crypto assets.

"You'll see that when momentum stocks get sold off, crypto performs a bit better," he said. "So, there's probably some kind of rotation."

These remarks are noteworthy because for Bitcoin to reach $100,000, it would need another considerable rally from current levels, and Novogratz did not treat this target as a foregone conclusion. His wording was noticeably more cautious: the Galaxy CEO merely believes the chart is still attractive, and that hitting the six-figure mark this year would not be surprising.

For Novogratz, the combination of recent improvement in trading volume, a recovery in crypto activity, and resilient momentum is enough for him to maintain a constructive view.

"I still like this chart," Novogratz said. "If we're standing at $100,000 at the end of the year, I won't be surprised."
