MrBeast-Linked Firm Files Trademarks Covering Crypto Exchanges and Banking

Beast Holdings, a company linked to popular YouTube creator MrBeast, has filed two U.S. trademark applications covering cryptocurrency trading, payment processing, decentralized exchange services, and banking products.

Summary

  • Beast Holdings filed two US trademark applications for MRBEAST FINANCIAL and BEAST FINANCIAL, covering cryptocurrency trading, payment processing, decentralized exchanges and banking services.
  • Both applications received notices of allowance on October 6, but neither trademark has been fully registered, and no cryptocurrency exchange launch has been confirmed.
  • The filings cover mobile banking, consumer lending, credit and debit cards, investment management and cryptocurrency payment services.
  • BitMine announced a $200 million investment in Beast Industries in January, with executives discussing plans to explore DeFi services for MrBeast’s audience.

According to U.S. trademark records, the applications for MRBEAST FINANCIAL and BEAST FINANCIAL received notices of allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office on October 6, 2026.

Both applications were originally filed on October 13, 2025, and published for opposition on August 11, 2026. They remain pending under the intent to use filing basis, with no registration numbers assigned.

MrBeast Financial trademarks cover crypto exchanges and payment services

Beast Holdings submitted the two applications under three trademark classes covering downloadable software, financial services, and software delivered through online platforms.

The financial services category, Class 036, includes cryptocurrency payment processing, cryptocurrency exchanges, and financial exchange services through decentralized exchanges, commonly known as DEXs.

Both filings specifically identify the financial exchange of cryptocurrency through DEXs among the proposed services. The wording covers exchange activity but does not clarify any particular blockchain, token, trading platform, or liquidity provider.

Under Class 009, Beast Holdings outlined plans for mobile applications offering banking, cryptocurrency exchange services, investment management, financial planning, insurance, and consumer lending. The applications would cover short term cash advances and financial education services.

The filings also include online banking, small loans, credit and debit card issuance, card payment processing, and savings programs linked to debit cards. Investment advisory services, investment banking, asset management, and financial data analysis are among the other proposed offerings.

Beast Holdings has included software services under Class 042, covering platforms that could provide banking, investment management, financial advice, and consulting services to other users.

Both applications cover largely the same services, although MRBEAST FINANCIAL specifically includes investment banking under its financial services category.

Beast Holdings LLC, based in Greenville, North Carolina, is listed as the applicant, with Ryan Mathew Kaiser of Amin Wasserman Gurnani LLP representing the company.

The filings do not specify when the services could launch or whether they would be offered through a single platform.

Is MrBeast launching a crypto exchange?

While the trademark filings suggest that Beast Holdings is considering cryptocurrency exchange services, the company has not confirmed any plans to launch a trading platform.

According to the USPTO records, both applications received the notices of allowance after completing several stages of examination over the past year.

However, neither trademark has been fully registered. Since the applications were filed under the intent to use category, Beast Holdings must show that the names are being used commercially before registration can be completed.

The company has until April 6, 2027, to submit the required proof, although it can request an extension.

It is important to note that the filings do not confirm whether Beast Holdings has secured the regulatory approvals needed to offer cryptocurrency exchange or banking services.

BitMine invested $200 million in MrBeast’s business

Beast Industries’ financial services plans were previously discussed in January 2026, when BitMine Immersion Technologies announced a $200 million equity investment in the company.

In its January 15 announcement, BitMine described Beast Industries as a major content creator business with a substantial audience among younger generations.

BitMine is an Ethereum treasury company chaired by Tom Lee, who discussed the potential to introduce financial products to MrBeast’s audience.

The investment was an equity transaction involving Beast Industries, not an announced investment in a cryptocurrency token or a completed launch of a decentralized finance product.

Jeff Housenbold, chief executive officer of Beast Industries, said at the time that the companies intended to explore incorporating DeFi into an upcoming financial services platform but fell short of disclosing a launch date for the proposed DeFi services in the January announcement.

MrBeast’s controversial history in the cryptocurrency

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has previously faced scrutiny over his involvement in the cryptocurrency industry, particularly regarding token investments and alleged promotional activity.

In October 2024, blockchain investigator SomaXBT accused Donaldson of profiting from several cryptocurrency projects, including SuperVerse, formerly known as SuperFarm, through early token allocations and subsequent sales.

The allegations gained more attention in November, when investigators, including analysts from Loock.io, claimed Donaldson had made roughly $10 million from investments in low cap cryptocurrency tokens.

The investigators alleged that wallets linked to Donaldson received tokens before selling them at a profit. However, the wallet connections and circumstances surrounding the transactions were not independently established, and the allegations did not amount to a finding of wrongdoing.
